IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING COVID 19
We are continuing to operate during Covid 19. Our process is slightly different. Customers need to follow a number of steps to ensure the continued safety of our customers and our volunteers. By following these steps, it will mean that the shop will be able to stay open to support our customers and provide access to food and essential items during this time.
Use the hand sanitizer on arrival at the store
Only a few customers will be allowed into the shop at any one time
Always keep 1.5 metres apart - approximately one trolley length distance at all times
A limit of two items per customer
A minimum of $5 spent on grocery items to be able to access free items (fruit, vegetables, donated produce)
Operating Hours: 10.30am - 1pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Shop smarter and make your budget go much further by shopping at the FoodCare Orange shop on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 142 March Street, Orange from 10.30am - 1pm. We provide fresh fruit, vegetables, milk, bread, eggs, and other groceries along with household items to people on a local income. Local community service agencies also use our service by ordering vouchers to share with clients.
Visit us to shop, socialise and learn more. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags!
If you would like to book a lift on our free bus service which runs on Tuesday and Thursday, you must book your seat no later than 4pm the day before. We can then schedule a pick up or drop off to and from the shop.
