Through our work and partnerships we envisage a community where people don’t experience food insecurity, where food waste is reduced, and where people can be supported in making healthy food choices.
Mission
FoodCare Orange is a food relief and food rescue social enterprise that provides access to both affordable and free food, groceries and household items for individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.
Our Team
FoodCare is managed by a voluntary management committee. A part-time food co-ordinator is employed to co-ordinate and order food, manage the stock, liaise with Foodbank, and ensure a range of affordable items are available. We have a fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who help to make FoodCare Orange a success. Volunteers work in the shop, drive the bus or collect food from donors.
